The Gujarat Titans will be the first Indian sports team to enter the Virtual Universe under Hardik Pandya
Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans recently declared that they have created a virtual space called The Titans Dugout in the Metaverse.
Throughout the forthcoming Indian Premier League 2022 season, this will be a space for engagement with the fan community. With this, Gujarat Titans will become India’s first professional sports club to create a dedicated virtual area for its worldwide community of fans and players. Gujarat Titans’ introduction into the virtual universe will be celebrated by the presentation of their team logo in The Titans Dugout, which will debut in the 15th season of the IPL. The avatars of skipper and all-rounder Hardik Pandeya, head coach Ashish Nehra, and opening batsman Shubman Gill welcomed Titans supporters as they arrived at the metaverse.
We are confident that The Titans Dugout in The Metaverse will give fans an immersive and fascinating experience. This will also be a one-of-a-kind way for fans to interact with the team.
At the mega auction, the Gujarat Titans established a formidable team combination with star players like Mohammed Shami, Jason Roy, and Lockie Ferguson. Rahul Tewatia, Vijay Shankar, David Miller, and Wriddhiman Saha will join the team’s draught choices — Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill – in the roster. Gujarat Titans, being one of the IPL’s newest teams, want to make a strong and resilient debut.
